Kinesis again this morning…first I get two days off then two classes on consecutive days…I’m shattered!!
A quiet day today – there are the usual classes and games etc around the ship but we have decided to just ‘chill’.
11.30am was Caviar in the Pool where some of the officers get into the pool in full whites and serve the guests caviar off a surf board … a bit like Caviar in the Surf but without the waves!! They needed a volunteer from the Pool bar staff to get in the pool to serve the champagne and Philip was there in a flash…serving the champagne with a big smile on his face….and cooling off at the same time!!
As we have ‘done’ this event several times now we opted to have a private champagne party with caviar on dry land at the Patio Grill…Irene & Alan bought a bottle of champagne (Perrier Jouet Grand Brut) which was much more to our taste as both Irene and me find the Nicolas Feuillatte champagne too acidic.
During the cruise there have been a series of art classes with art instructor Lucylee and today the guests who attended showcased their works of art at an exhibition in Seabourn Square. The creations were fabulous and made me wish I had taken the time to join in this year just like I have on previous cruises. Too late now as Lucylee is leaving the ship in Sydney. I particularly liked the aboriginal style pictures…I must learn how to do that!!
We had dinner tonight at the Patio Grill and Suzie & Lance came to join us. We were all going to stay on deck and watch the ‘Movie under The Stars’ which was ‘Argo’ with Ben Affleck but as the wind was getting up we decided against it and thought it would be better to watch it in our suites. So it was goodnights all round and off to bed.
