Woke at 7:30am…still a bit sleepy but have to get up for the 8am kinesis class…hope Craig doesn’t push us too hard today!!!
After breakfast we then spent the morning by the pool as it’s really hot today…someone said it reached 100f by 1:30pm…too hot for me so after lunch I found some shade to catch up on some well deserved sleep…zzzz… it’s amazing as I’m sleeping eight to ten hours a night AND having an hour in the afternoon…are Seabourn putting something in the water? or maybe in the alcohol…!!
We went to The Colonnade for dinner this evening – South American tonight where I chose a spicy beef empanada for starters followed by beef & chicken skewers. When the main course arrived we were surprised by a ‘special’ extra meal.
We had told Jes the chef a few days before that our favourite meal in Thailand was pineapple rice – a slice is taken off along the side of the pineapple and the inside scooped out. It’s then refilled with cooked white rice, bits of the fruit, chicken, prawns and nuts. The slice is then put back on and the whole pineapple is baked for about thirty minutes. Jes presented us with the same…it was wonderful…thank you Jes.
